Notes: We’ve all experienced the look, feel, noise, and glare of a classroom illuminated with fluorescent lights. The overhead cool-white fluorescent lighting can ricochet off the surface of tables, desks, or school assignments and into the eyes, causing a type of unintended glare called veiling reflection, which results in discomfort and lower productivity. We find ourselves searching for light sources that eliminate harsh overhead lighting. Janet takes us on a tour of her classroom and the lights she uses to take the place of the fluorescent lights in her room.
