Feedback is an essential part of learning, and when students can identify their strengths and areas for improvement, they become more active participants in their learning journey. However, feedback is only meaningful when students understand its purpose and feel confident in applying it to improve their work.
This lesson is designed to show students that feedback isn’t about pointing out what’s wrong—it’s about helping them learn, refine their skills, and achieve their goals. By teaching students how to interpret and act on feedback, we empower them to take ownership of their progress, build resilience, and see challenges as opportunities to grow. Through guided discussions and activities, students will learn how to reflect on feedback, celebrate their successes, and approach areas of improvement with curiosity and determination.
