Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow." —Mary Ann Radmacher
We all have issues and events in our lives that require us to have courage. We should recognize that sometimes we might need to convince ourselves that we can push through the difficult times and be brave and strong enough to overcome our fears.
Whether it's the courage to quit smoking, start a fitness routine, recover from an injury or illness, start a new job, or retire from a long-loved career, we all need courage to go on.
On the days when I need courage, I support myself with these positive affirmations:
- I will do the right thing today.
- I can do this.
- I can overcome my fear.
- I have friends and family to support me.
- I will try again tomorrow.
- I have strength to carry on.
No matter what your challenge is, have courage and keep trying.
