Issue #336

The best of 2014 highlights are swirling around in the media. Have you seen the most important world events of the year? How about the most spectacular sports plays, the best movies, or one of our favorites, the School Library Journal's Best of 2014? When I read these highlights, I respond with either “That's what I thought” or “How could they forget___?”  I may not always agree with the selections, but reading the lists sparks memories that become a sort of 2014 time capsule.

We continue with our twist on the “Best of” tradition by highlighting our readers' favorites. With more than 2000 articles, videos, and downloads, it can be easy to miss these buried treasures. Since they are worth discovering, or rediscovering, we are calling them our Hidden Gems of 2014.

And if we missed your favorite content, head over to the Discussion Board and share your hidden gem with all of us.
