Over the past year or so, we have been caught up in many new things and pulled in different directions, and it has proved to be difficult. In fact, we have been so busy trying to figure out how to navigate this new way of life that we may have neglected the critically important task of taking care of ourselves.
All the important decisions and activities on which we spend our time and energy become meaningless if we accomplish them by sacrificing our own well-being and don’t take time for personal growth.
What do I mean by “personal growth,” and how can you achieve it? Begin by taking time for yourself. Making yourself a priority doesn’t mean that you’re being selfish or lazy. It’s necessary and rejuvenating. Take some time to read a book, listen to a podcast, or try out a new hobby.
Anything that helps you relax and rest is intentional personal growth, and we all need that. It will help you become a better leader, teacher, spouse, parent, and friend—a better you!
Start small. What will you do for yourself today?
Friends,
We are working on a special project to make your experience with us even better. We are not quite ready to share everything, but we just can’t wait any longer to share this:
EEK!! We promise there will be more coming soon!
