This is a great time to develop new healthy habits and to rejuvenate ourselves.

Here are 10 things that will help bring health to your mind and body.

  1. Learn to breathe. Take deep breaths and exhale slowly. We often hold our breath when under stress.
  2. Improve your diet by eating more fruits and vegetables.
  3. Switch sugared drinks out for cold water with a lemon slice.
  4. Wear sunscreen.
  5. Get preventive check-ups (dental, vision, colonoscopy, and mammogram).
  6. Renew acquaintances and reconnect with friends and family.
  7. Laugh every day.
  8. Relax, even for a few minutes.
  9. Quiet your mind. Find quiet in every day.
  10. Give the gift of a smile or encouraging word to everyone you meet. Those gifts will be returned to you.

If we practice these tips every day they will become new positive habits to help us become and remain rejuvenated. Take time to focus on your health.
