Our school is being required to implement DOK (Depth of knowledge Level 3) in the classroom in 2 subjects twice per week and then submitting the ideas, plans, strategies to our principal. I am looking for ideas and ways other teachers have implemented DOK Level 3 into their daily curriculum.
I’m sorry that I don’t have knowledge about DOK, but am thinking it’s like “End in Mind” that we discuss in my district. Our Daily 5/CAFE teachers have had discussions about how preparing our kids with a variety of strategies to meet their needs deepens their knowledge.
Our discussion also has revolved around the important point that our students reach “depth of knowledge” at differing times.
