I am looking for new fresh ideas for small group time. I personally love conferring with kids 1 on 1, but want to be able to get to all my kids more efficiently. I teach 3rd and 4th grade (multi-age) and my students range from Kindergarten reading level up to 8th grade (it’s crazy!) Their wcpm ranges from 11-178, so I feel like the only way to address all their needs is individual or small group conferences. Any ideas? Programs you love? Any advice welcome :slight_smile:

Have you read up on Strategy Groups? This way, you can work on the strategies the students need rather than only the reading levels.
