#419

We are thrilled to announce the release of an independent white paper, "Effective Strategies for Teaching and Learning Independence in Literacy: The Daily 5 Literacy Structure." Jill Buchan, PhD, compiled recent and historical research confirming the validity of Daily 5. The paper addresses the foundational elements that make Daily 5 so effective: choice, brain research, the gradual-release process, and extended authentic practice. Share this research with parents, principals, administrators, and colleagues. Use it to support and validate your teaching practice.
