Textures

Seeing the world through the lens of a camera can enhance the details and textures we miss with our eyes.

Consider the dragonfly. The beauty of iridescent and translucent wings. The delicate, fragile, almost ethereal texture. We see the textures without touching. We use our sight to interpret what our touch would feel.

Consider the snowflakes that gently float and one by one build upon themselves to create massive amounts of cold, powdery fun. The camera lens shows us patterns of delicate lacelike intricacies that are unrecognized at first glance.

Touching invites our senses to take in the beauty and complexity of textures at the same time the lens of a camera captures the delicate details.

Try viewing life through the lens of a camera. You may be surprised at the beauty that surrounds you in the textures that are unnoticed.
