My principal was so kind after watching videos of barometer tools and sending some teachers to a Daily 5 conference in Vegas, to buy every teacher many barometer tools. Our staff is struggling in a couple areas and looking for ideas. What to do when the child wants to play with the tools and not work/read? How to explain to the others who think it’s not fair that they aren’t using tools? We are looking for any tips. Thanks!
Have you read this article by the Sisters about Barometer children? Lots of good information!

I also love this idea–and it get the class involved in recognizing appropriate behaviors in others (and hopefully reflecting that in their own).
