What does Homework look like in a Daily 5/Cafe classroom? I am curious what others are doing. I haven’t fully jumped in yet. Still working on HOW to conference with students…that is a whole different question. Will check discussion boards for that answer because I am sure there have been others with the same issues. BUT PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE HOMEWORK COMPONENT!
Read, read, read :). Reread familiar books to build fluency strategies, to check for understanding and practice the strategies they are working on currently. Sending home Parent Pipelines for parents/students to go over together would be an added idea.
You’ll probably have homework in other subject areas, but for Daily 5/CAFE, reading at home would be the best suggestion.
Thank you! Sounds like a plan!
