Instead of always assigning students to a work space, we teach students how to choose a successful spot to work, all on their own! We ask them to consider noise, proximity to others, lighting, and comfort. We use the acronym S.P.A.C.E., which is explained in the video and poster below. Share this video with your class as you teach them how to choose a successful spot to work. **As an extension, ask them to apply these same ideas to find a good work space in their home. Then, have them share with the class.
