I am having a heck of a time embracing our district adopted Ready Gen at 3rd grade. It seems to go against every grain of my brain and what students love about reading. I would love to know if others are teaching this curriculum and incorporating CAFE and Daily 5.
Here’s an article from the website about integrating Daily 5/CAFE with your basal program. It’s not specific to your program, but may give you some ideas about integrating the two.

There are also links to another couple of articles there, too. Hopefully, these will help you out a bit.
