I am very excited to implement the Math Daily 3 this year in my 3rd grade classroom. My district currently uses the Investigations curriculum by the TERC. Does anyone have some helpful ideas for merging these two together?
Thanks!
Hi Joan,
Lucky you and lucky kiddos going to third grade! I loved my 7 years at that level… Moved on to 4th now. When I first was learning about the Daily Five, I started using this structure for my math classes… So while I had different categories of activity back in the old days, the activities were tied to our MA framework (and common core) within Investigations. Maybe this will help? (Sorry, the only access to my doc is through my blog… Can’t get into school to send just the doc!).
