Our teachers are working on launching “Work on Writing”, but are introducing the 3 foundation lessons first. Do they just introduce a lesson, have students practice it, then move on to next foundation lesson? Or should they practice the same foundation lesson, such as “Underline Words you don’t know…” several times?
I think the answer to your question might depend on the age of your students and the way they respond to the lessons. I think the ideal might be to introduce the 3 lessons during the first few days, practicing each as you suggest.
These are lessons that will “spiral” and be retaught over time, but introducing them all early on, will reach as many kiddos as possible.
